Job Description
As a member of the Sacramento / Nexstar Digital sales team, the Digital Sales Specialist works within established Sales Department guidelines to maximize station digital revenue opportunities from order entry, collecting campaign assets, overseeing campaigns, and preparing forms and reports. The Digital Sales Specialist is also responsible for performing all clerical functions required by department personnel as needed.

• QA/troubleshooting of active campaigns, creative implementation, and 3rd party measurement discrepancies
• Execute digital orders, campaigns and oversee creative development for all digital advertising
• Monitor, analyze, and proactively create solutions to retain and grow digital revenue
• Report monthly metrics to Account Executive and client either by phone, webinar, or in-person
• Communicate and create one sheets for sales staff on successful digital campaigns
• Communicate available FOX40.com inventory percentages, digital news, and vendor updates to staff
• Assist Account Executives on sales calls, if needed; digital fulfillment/creative support
• Digital Advertising Experience a plus
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirement and skills:
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Minimum one year's experience in clerical support or administrative assistance, preferably in the sales or media fields
• Forward looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions
• Attention to detail and demonstrated initiative; self-starter who is organized with strong decision-making capability, ability to follow through without supervision and strong emotional maturity
• Prioritize and track deliverables, manage project timelines, deadlines and requests
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Google Docs and Photoshop (preferred)
• General knowledge of social medias, such as Facebook, Twitter & Instagram
• Knowledge of digital marketing services/products (including targeted video, digital audience and reach extensions, SEO/SEM, and sponsorships)
• Up to date on latest trends in digital marketing service industry
• Must be able to conduct telephone conversations and use electronic mail
• Ability to multitask; manage multiple assignments and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, & team-oriented environment
• Previous Internet Sales/Support experience

The Digital Sales Specialist must be able to sit, reach, conduct telephone conversations, use electronic mail, write letters and memos, conduct face-to-face discussions with individuals or groups, make decisions without supervision, make decisions that impact the results of co-workers, and work indoors in environmentally controlled conditions. The Digital Sales Specialist must be able to lift, set up and operate equipment or items weighing up to 25 pounds. Repetitive movements are required, and work may be conducted in extremely bright or inadequate lighting conditions.
