Creative Services Producer

Job Description

The Creative Services Producer is responsible for the development of cutting-edge promotion and commercial spots from conception to completion based on defined marketing goals. Creative scripting and non-linear editing experience is a must.
• Collaborate with Creative Services Director and other department staff to conceptualize and produce on-air image and topical promotion with primary focus on local news and weather.
• Write/Produce promotion spots and commercials that are on-brand and drive results.
• Maintain a variety of projects and work with varying production styles while employing strong client service skills
• Manage production process that includes working with clients, account executives, designers, talent and voiceover artists
• Set up shoots and work with department personnel on assessing equipment needs for desired results
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements & Skills:
• 2+ years of experience producing promotion spots, commercial spots or short-form content
• Broad understanding of marketing and design
• Exhibit advanced editing expertise
• Software skills required include Adobe Premiere Pro and Audition
• Experience with DSLR cameras and lighting equipment a plus
• Knowledge of virtual production practices/workflow a plus
• Ability to make deadlines, fulfill scheduling commitments and succeed in a fast-paced environment is required
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
