The Senior Corporate Recruiter is responsible for talent acquisition: providing well qualified and diverse candidates for the company using local and national recruiting plans. The ideal candidate will have a media sales background or experience recruiting for media sales. The recruiter will execute traditional sourcing strategies and resources – as well as develop new creative recruiting strategies. This role will handle openings across all levels and departments of the company. This team member will help build our company by recruiting ''best in class'' talent, making us the overall employer of choice for media in the US.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain relationships with well-qualified and diverse candidates to fill a broad array of openings
• Collaborate with HR team and hiring managers to identify critical openings and priorities
• Work alongside hiring managers to determine team needs and criteria for finding ''best in class'' candidates
• Create and execute recruiting plan for each assigned opening, including advertising position on social media and other sites as requested by the hiring manger
• Review recruiting process with hiring managers, and local HR when appropriate
• Screen resumes, conduct in-depth phone interviews assessing candidates' level of interest, qualifications, and salary expectations. Present list of well-qualified and diverse candidates to the hiring manager
• Schedule updates for hiring managers through the recruiting process
• Evaluate candidates' background and conduct reference checks, as requested
• Deliver metrics related to key performance indicators based on placement
• Seek out strategies and methods to continually improve the recruiting process
• Demonstrate an understanding of market/industry trends and their related effect on talent acquisition
• Create and maintain recruiting contacts within the industry and beyond
• Attend professional conferences and meetings, as requested
• Perform other special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in human resources, media, or like disciplines. At least five years of experience in field or related field required. Recruiting experience preferred.
• Well-honed skills in recruitment, sourcing/candidate development, and evaluation processes, as well as a passion for television/digital/media
• Proven relationship building skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Ability to succeed with minimal supervision and to work well in a fast-paced environment
• Effective verbal communication skills with a dynamic telephone presence
• Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills
• General knowledge of various employment laws and practices
• Ability to develop strong working relationships with employees at all levels within the organization to foster a spirit of teamwork
• Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work
• Excellent organizational skills; relentless attention to detail
• Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
• Gather and analyze information skillfully
• Demonstrate resourcefulness and ability to take initiative
• Ability to travel for recruitment meetings and maintain a flexible work schedule on an as-needed basis
• Excellent Microsoft office experience
