Job Description
WHO TV, in Des Moines Iowa is currently seeking an Automotive Digital Sales Specialist.

We are looking for a highly motivated self-starting Sales Executive with knowledge and experience of Automotive working with Automotive dealers assessing Digital and Marketing needs.
• Candidate must possess a high level of Digital product knowledge, 2-3 years of Sales or Automotive related Sales experience, and the ability to work directly with clients.

Candidate must also show the ability to work within a team environment, by assisting and training other Account Executives. Experience working directly with dealers in the Des Iowa DMA a plus. Experience in 3rd party products such as Cars.com, Auto trader, and like products extremely valuable.

This position generates advertising revenue by connecting with established advertisers and cold-calling new prospects.

They will implement strategies to consistently grow revenue and exceed revenue goals while establishing credible relationships with local business community.

They will make Sales calls on existing and prospective clients, prepare and delivers Sales presentations to clients.

Explains to customers how specific types of advertising will help promote their products or services in the most effective way possible.

Provides clients with information regarding rates for Advertising placement in all media.

Develops advertising schedules with clients and station personnel responsible for placing advertising into station media.

Works with clients and station personnel to develop advertisements.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements & Skills:

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising or Mass Communications or related field is preferred

Minimum three year's Automotive related Sales experience and/or Digital Media Sales and Marketing experience

Significant knowledge of the Digital advertising landscape including Paid Search, Programmatic Ad buying, Social Media Management, Mobile Strategy etc.

Motivated, enthusiastic, self-starter who can work effectively both independently and in a team environment

Effective communication and client presentation skills

Ability to interact with high-level decision makers

Ability to sell through a consultative sales experience

Ability to sell a vast array of products

Excellent follow-up, strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals and secure revenue goals

Interest and passion for digital trends and how they relate to the media/ broadcast industry

Strategic thinker with strong ability to translate complex ideas into succinct, and compelling sales narratives

Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines and other office equipment.

Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Experience achieving long-range objectives and implementing the strategies and actions to achieve them.
