WOOD TV 8 is seeking a dynamic Multi-Media Account Executive to join our high-performing sales team! We are looking for an experienced sales professional with a passion for growing local businesses and a talent for building client relationships that deliver results.
In this role, you will manage and grow established accounts while hunting for new business opportunities across a range of industries. You will create customized marketing solutions using our full suite of offerings-from the trusted power of broadcast television to cutting-edge digital advertising tools, including digital video, targeted display, social, and search.
Responsibilities:
• Full-time Sales role on a high-performing sales team committed to excellence and collaboration.
• Clearly communicate the value of WOOD TV8's integrated marketing solutions, schedule client meetings, collaborate on proposals, and present strategic recommendations.
• Proactively develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients using a wide range of resources and research tools.
• Engage potential clients through strategic outreach efforts, including phone calls, emails, LinkedIn networking, and in-person meetings.
• Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly activities and performance metrics.
• Strengthen and grow existing partnerships through thoughtful insights, campaign optimization, and excellent customer service.
• Achieve and surpass revenue targets while maintaining accurate forecasting and reporting.
• Support station and corporate initiatives and contribute to overall success by performing additional duties as assigned.
Skills & Experience:
• 3-5+ years of experience in media sales, or related fields, with a passion for customer-based solutions.
• Experienced in consultative selling.
• Strong organizational, writing, and proposal building skills.
• Energetic self-starter, team-oriented, and focused on maintaining positive momentum.
• Quick adaptation of new tools, technology, and processes.
• Quick thinker, able to ask and answer questions with ease.
• Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record.
