Dan Abrams Live Associate Producer

The Dan Abrams Live Associate Producer is responsible for conducting research, pitching stories, gathering editorial elements, building graphics, desktop editing of video and helping to craft segments and producing segments on an as-needed basis.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Conduct research and pitch stories

Gather editorial elements including video, audio and user-generated content

Build and copy edit graphics and banners

Edit video.

Support segment producers as needed.

Requirements & Skills:

Two to three years' experience in national or major-market news preferred

BA/BS degree or equivalent degree in journalism or related field

Must have strong research, writing, and organizational skills

Must exhibit strong news judgment

Must be detail-oriented

Must be self-directing, self-motivating and able to work will with a diverse group of people.

Must be collaborative and interact well with on-air talent, producers, production, and technical staff

Salary Range - $50,000 - $65,000
