Job Description

NewsNation is looking for an Anchor Producer to join the growing team producing the new primetime anchored by Chris Cuomo. The anchor producer will provide both editorial and administrative assistance. Duties will include conducting research in preparation for broadcast, collecting and sharing editorial updates during breaking news coverage, and providing ongoing logistical and administrative support to the anchor. The position is based at the network's studios in New York City.

Requirements & Skills:

Assist in compiling research for anchor
Gather information on breaking news stories

Assist producers and writers in production of segments writing copy, editing video or ordering graphics

Assist producers and writers in producing segments

Assist anchor in maintaining social media
Provide daily support by managing schedule and booking travel as needed.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in journalism, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience

At least two years of news production experience
Strong organizational, and people skills are a must
Desktop editing is a must.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter with excellent communication skills who brings lots of ideas to the table.

Salary Range: $65,000 - $100,000 Annualized
