DEPARTMENT: Season Ticket Retention

REPORTS TO: Manager, Season Ticket Sales, Retention & Service

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

The Retention Sales Specialist is responsible for maximizing ticket revenue through both new sales initiatives and renewals. This position is responsible for achieving new business sales goals, renewing high seniority season ticket accounts as well as planning and coordinating client events to maximize referrals and account base retention.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Generate new sales revenue through cold calling, in-person appointments and prospecting
• Responsible for the growth of existing relationships in order to maximize spend and generate repeat business and referrals
• Provide excellent customer service
• Coordinate and execute in-game, pre-game and postgame experiences
• Attend team and community events for the purpose of maximizing sales opportunities
• Coordinate with other departments to organize and implement Youth Day and other events
• Exceed weekly and monthly sales goals
• Maintain CRM records for season ticket customers and prospects
• Other projects assigned

Qualifications and Experience:
• Minimum four years of sales experience within the sports industry
• Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management, Business or related field
• Proven customer service skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics
• Experience using Ticketmaster, Archtics Ticketing System preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft CRM database preferred
• Requires continual attention to detail and high level of organization
• Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information
• Flexible work schedule
