THIS IS A PERMANENT FULL TIME ROLE BASED IN SYDNEY

This is what you'll do as a Senior Producer:

You're a senior member of our news team, with the ability to step into most newsroom roles as required. Tasks include story writing and producing, while control room and lineup experience are an advantage.

Functions will also include:
• Contributing to editorial decisions, finding and pitching stories relevant to our viewers
• Produce and write dynamic stories, finding talent, commissioning graphics and animations as required
• Meet multiple daily deadlines
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders both internally and externally

What are we looking for in a Senior Producer? What's important?
• You are a news junkie, across the issues that are important to our audience
• Senior level of newsroom experience
• Degree or college education in Journalism or Communications preferred
• Strong communication and writing skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and to multiple deadlines
• Availability to work weekends and early/late shifts
• Control room and Line-Up experience or the ability to learn the skills preferable
