This is a permanent full-time role based in Sydney.

As the Production Assistant you will be responsible for keeping the busy production department running smoothly. This fast paced and pivotal role within the team requires a highly intuitive, organised and flexible person who is motivated and capable of thinking on their feet whilst ensuring things run smoothly within the department.

More specifically, you'll be doing things like this:
• Coordinating the delivery of programs: liaising with Production Company, managing and distributing scripts schedules and relevant materials in pre production, ingesting footage, organising tech checks and updating the TX Schedules.
• Personal Assistant to the EPs: answering telephones and emails and extensive diary management including but not limited to; scheduling meetings, and set visits, organising screenings, in house guest collection and management, booking travel, collating and balancing expenses, monitoring delivery schedules across multiple productions.
• Supporting Eps through conducting research and gathering relevant materials on multiple projects and proposals upon request with absolute professionalism and confidence
• General Production Assistant tasks: liaising with the Production Supervisor and production companies prior to any shooting blocks and studio records to make sure all requests are managed in a timely manner, amend talent transfers as required, complete appropriate research regarding shows as requested, and reporting all findings confidentiality and relaying the information in the correct form.
• General team support: answer phone calls, collect mail & book couriers, managing production information & communication, creating network 10 and Paramount + contact lists for productions, managing contact lists & spreadsheets, arranging gifts, putting through stationary order and raising Purchase Orders, updating the executive production travel forecast, and general administration duties such as filing, preparing presentations and other responsibilities as required.

• You will have a large amount of personal contact with senior Network Executives and the wider television industry. As a result, this role requires a great deal of confidentiality and discretion.
• Ability to be a fast learner, to use your fine-tuned initiative, plan your work effectively and to be able to multi-task and take direction.
• You will need to have an exceptionally high level of organisation and be an effective problem solver
• A real passion for television and TV production
• Highly personable and have excellent communication and computer skills.
• Outstanding attention to detail and a proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint are essential.
