Core Responsibilities:
• Working with the Netflix LATAM cross-functional team including and not limited to Creative, Physical Production, Post Production, Finance, Legal Executives as well as Producers and Showrunners across the lifespan of multiple series in different states of pre-production, production and post
• Creating context for Netflix and Netflix partners around VFX approach, software and 4K pipelines to promote better planning, estimating and budgeting
• Analyzing scripts, building or reviewing VFX breakdowns and verifying budgets as well as providing recommendations and feedback on VFX scope of work and feasibilityReviewing VFX concepts, asset and shots on a regular basis to ensure production value across all series within region
• Reviewing VFX concepts, asset and shots on a regular basis to ensure production value across all series within region
• Building new and maintaining existing relationships with vendors/talent in region
• Regular reporting for transparency of progress with cross-functional partners
• Technical understanding of the VFX process including 4K pipelines, HDR deliveries as well as emerging technologies for improving workflows such as Virtual Production
• Alignment and advancement of the VFX department workflow internationally in order to promote efficiency and transparency that supports the overall business goals of Netflix
Requirements:
• 7-10 years experience as a VFX Supervisor or VFX Producer with a strong technical background producing 4K Series or Feature Film projects
• Repeat experience managing teams and working cross-departmentally
• Knowledge of 2D/3D pipelines from a vendor perspective
• Latin America VFX market knowledge and experience highly preferred
• Repeat experience with bidding, creating breakdowns, and building budgets
• Demonstrated success managing multiple projects simultaneously at different stages of development, production and post-production
• Familiarity with Google Suite and production task tracking software, such as Shotgun and F-Track
• Bilingual in both English and Spanish, can demonstrate ease in speaking to VFX in both languages is required
• This role is based in Mexico
