The Role
Product Discovery & Promotion (PDP) sits at the heart of the Choosing experience for every Netflix member. From Metadata & Tagging, Creative Strategy & Craft, through to Production, Globalization, and Launch, this team touches every title that our members see on the Netflix platform. PDP Operations drives excellence in every launch such that we can work smarter, increase efficiency, and, most importantly, increase joy for our members on the Netflix platform.
The Regional Operations Lead-Launch (LatAm) will identify opportunities to drive efficiency in how we launch titles in Latin America. This role will connect our global Operations team with our local LatAm team, ensuring we implement global best practices while also considering local needs.
We're looking for someone with deep experience managing programs and operational workflows, and a strong interest in understanding how Netflix launches new titles. This role will be based in Mexico City and will report to the Head of Regional Operations.
In this role, you will:
• Launch Operational Health: Track and improve the operational health of LatAm title launches by analysing trends, gathering insights, and finding solutions based on observed patterns
• Regional Operational Expertise: Serve as the LatAm expert regarding operational best practices. This includes introducing new launch workflows and updates to existing workflows to PDP team members across LatAm.
• Problem Solving: Identify and address opportunities or challenges related to launching titles in the region, working with both local and global teams to implement solutions
• Title-level support: Provide timely support for specific title launches when needed. Use insights from these experiences to develop holistic long-term solutions to support future launches.
• Global collaboration: Help to build a strong Regional Operations global community by connecting with peers locally and globally.
The ideal candidate has:
• 8-10+ years of experience in program management or project management roles in fast-moving, matrixed global organizations within the tech industry
• Strong operational rigour and workflow management experience
• A bias to action, and the ability to review, streamline, and prioritize efforts in line with expected impact
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to inspire, influence, and present to diverse global audiences
• A strong track record of being a collaborative thought partner and trusted resource for key stakeholders across product and tech
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills - questioning assumptions, identifying problem statements with data, breaking down, mapping, and determining optimizations
• English proficiency (mandatory); knowledge of Spanish or Portuguese (advantageous)
• The ability to exemplify the Netflix culture and values
