At Enterprise Product Engineering (EPE), we are on a mission to revolutionize Netflix's enterprise technology landscape. By deploying world-class solutions across business functions and seamlessly integrating critical data streams, we aim to empower our business units to scale efficiently, reduce risks, enhance decision-making, and deliver a thrilling member experience. Our guiding principle is to champion Connected Enterprise suites, which offer integrated data and workflows, over isolated point solutions.
We are seeking a dynamic Technical Program Manager to lead high-impact, cross-functional programs. In this pivotal role, you'll collaborate closely with product teams, data scientists, business stakeholders (Finance, Talent, Customer Support etc), fellow technical program managers, and senior leadership to execute, track, and deliver strategic initiatives that drive significant value.
Responsibilities
• Lead multiple cross-functional programs, in collaboration with product, engineering, design, and data science, that deliver technical solutions.
• Drive engagement with cross-functional partners, work to decompose requirements into technical execution plans with measurable milestones, effectively optimize scope and schedule, manage cross-functional dependencies, and proactively identify and manage risks.
• Craft clear communication of progress toward goals, reporting status to stakeholders and leadership
• Provide domain expertise to form technical strategies with engineering partners.
• Apply strong technical, organizational, and communication skills to devise sound technical approaches to abstract goals.
• Identify the systems involved to build new solutions, align roadmaps, and weigh relative priorities.
• Build strong relationships and rally the team with high emotional intelligence and exceptional listening skills.
• Operate independently, challenge the status quo, and always play for the larger team.
Requirements
• 7+ years of technical program management experience
• Proven experience driving large-scale software projects, managing the definition of technical strategies, and building long-term scalable solutions
• Deep understanding and point of view on product growth and discovery solutions
• Highly skilled, experienced, and enjoys orchestrating multiple programs with many moving parts and creating partnerships with cross-functional teams
• Able to identify gaps in solutions, debate technical approaches and weigh in on product vs. technology tradeoffs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly articulate business impact and technical constraints tailored to the audience
• As comfortable speaking technically as non-technically and able to bridge between the two.
• Detail-oriented, can identify what's missing in planning and execution of software development, testing, and launch.
• Exemplify the Netflix culture by understanding, advocating, and demonstrating its values.
