ABOUT THE JOB

You'll represent our team and work with many organizations and individuals including our QA vendors. Your primary focus will be testing iOS and Android games while also testing for other platforms such as PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, PC, Mac and more. If you crave creating test plans, leading JIRA, and bug management along with FQA and CQA testing: we welcome you with open arms.

Responsibilities:
• Own the creation and executions of test plans, including the Master Test Plan, and troubleshoot support within TestRail
• Journeyman testing – Strive to think outside the scope of the test plan when appropriate (ad-hoc testing, documenting negative test cases, etc.)
• Become a true expert of Night School games while assessing product quality, usability, and device limitations
• Provide a technical QA presence in development meetings on top of working with partners and stakeholders to utilize and improve our testing tools
• Triaging difficult problems and driving them to resolution

Skills and Experience:
• 4+ years of industry experience in QA for the gaming industry with a working knowledge of the software development process
• Minimum 2 years hands-on testing mobile games experience with exceptional iOS/Android testing experience
• Experience with JIRA, TestRail, and TCM tools and expert knowledge in MS Excel/Google Sheets
• Ability to work with internal teams and external QA vendors, review partner test results, and hold all products to the highest levels of quality
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence through feedback as well as champion and enhance the user experience

Nice to Have:
• Certifications: PMP, Scrum Master and/or Product Owner, ISTQB
• Coding Knowledge: XML/HTML, JavaScript, Python, Java, C/C++/ C#, SQL
• PC/Web experiencing or the ability to learn
• Experience with Xcode, using IPAs, and pulling device logs
• Experience with Continuous Integration system

The overall market range for roles in this area of Netflix is typically $50,000 - $250,000.
