About Player Data
Our goal is to empower game developers to seamlessly integrate and launch their greatest hits on the Netflix Game Developer platform. This role involves building and enhancing our product capabilities to deliver an unparalleled gaming experience, incorporating features like cloud saves, leaderboards, and achievements. A successful candidate will manage the full software development lifecycle, collaborating on product definition, development, deployment, and ongoing operations, with an emphasis on scalability to meet the demands of a worldwide audience.
In this role, success is:
• Leveraging 3-5 years of games platform experience to influence outcomes
• Taking ownership to deliver high-quality solutions in ambiguous environments
• Collaborating with senior engineers to influence product and architecture decisions
• Building and extending distributed systems to support new product features
• Operating complex services and troubleshooting cross-functional problems
• Designing highly scalable stateful services leveraging distributed datastores
Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $300,000 - $700,000.
