As part of Data Science and Engineering within Growth, Pricing is a relatively new team that works with a broad set of stakeholders from Product, Engineering, Finance, Content, Data Science, and central/regional leadership teams. We provide various insights and quantitative learnings from data to inform the overall pricing strategy and tactical decisions. We are seeking the first Senior Analytics Engineer to join our journey to collectively shape the global pricing strategy for our next play.

This is the role for you if –
• You are passionate about informing business decisions with the power of data
• You are curious about data exploration and insight discovery and capable of translating insights into actionables
• You are a strong communicator capable of speaking data to various audiences with varying levels of abstraction

• You can work effectively and switch gears (build datasets, ad hoc analysis, dashboards) in a fast-paced environment
• You are a strong collaborator, and can influence cross-functional teams through thought partnership

Experiences you have
• Extensive experience using SQL, data wrangling (e.g., Python, R, Spark) and capable of building ad hoc datasets
• Extensive experience in data visualization (e.g., Tableau, Shiny), such as building ad hoc visualizations and dashboards
• Fluency in a programming language (e.g., Python), strong programming skills, and version control (Github, Stash) is a plus
• Experience with finance or consumer pricing is highly desirable

What you will do
• Run exploratory data analysis proactively and extract new data insights to inform executive decision making
• Collaborate with data engineers and peer analytics engineers to develop data pipelines for reporting and high impact analysis
• Develop tooling and dashboard to improve self-service and access of pricing insights
• Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders in finance, product, engineering, and data science to inform the global pricing strategy
• Work closely with product squad on novel pricing/plan tiers initiatives
