Job Description
Netflix is one of the world's leading entertainment services, with over 300 million paid memberships in over 190 countries enjoying TV series, films and games across a wide variety of genres and languages. Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time.

As we continue to scale our investment in local stories that resonate globally, we continue to expand our operational footprint in the region. The legal team is looking for a hybrid, regional role based in our São Paulo office and will support the Music Business & Legal Affairs (BLA) and the Rights Management teams.

The Rights & Music Operations Analyst provides a unique opportunity to impact the full lifecycle of content across Latin America. You will be responsible for analyzing contracts for owned productions and catalog licensed Latin American content and creating the distribution windows and rights information in Netflix's proprietary rights management system for titles launching on the Netflix service; while simultaneously providing critical administrative and systems support for the Music BLA Team. We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy collaborator who thrives in a fast-paced environment where freedom and responsibility are core tenets.

Key Responsibilities

Rights Analysis & System Management
• Analyze and interpret complex distribution agreements for both licensed and owned content, identifying all relevant rights, restrictions, and windowing requirements.
• Collaborate closely with a diverse group of stakeholders, including Content Acquisition, Legal, Content Accounting and Title Operations to manage content window set-up and resolve contractual interpretation issues.
• Ensure the integrity of rights data by performing cross-checks against executed contracts and managing date, territory, or language changes for in-progress or active windows.
• Identify opportunities and strive for tool and process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy within the Rights team.
• Maintain high alignment with the Rights Management team in Los Angeles and other regional offices.

Music Coordination & Administration
• General music support (e.g. maintaining templates, folders, redacting/archiving boilerplate agreements, granting productions access to SourceAudio)
• Management of business-critical systems and databases with regards to licensed and library music, as well as keeping internal documents and cross functional teams up-to-date (e.g. licensing/library specific Airtables, SourceAudio audits, onboarding tools, workflow checklists, one-sheets, etc.)
• Music contract administration support such as processing composer/music supervisor/songwriter/music library payments, uploading agreements inclusive of deal terms into our internal contract management system and other support as needed
• General team administrative support (e.g. team calendar management, building access for external vendors, offering tech support for team presentations, etc.)
• Collaborating with our Music Data, Tech & Rights Team to identify gaps and inefficiencies in our systems and proactively implementing innovative solutions to eliminate duplicative and highly-manual work
• Participating in other projects specific to Netflix music team needs

Essential Skills & Qualifications
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in Sales Administration, Content Rights Management, or high-level administrative support, ideally within a studio or entertainment company.
• Language: Fluency in Portuguese and English is required. Proficiency in Spanish, or a strong willingness to learn, is a plus.
• Analytical Rigor: Strong ability to read complex contracts and make wise, strategic decisions even when rules are unclear.
• Technical Savvy: Advanced knowledge of Excel and familiarity with database systems (Airtable, SourceAudio, etc.).

Adaptability: A self-motivated team player who can pivot quickly and juggle time-sensitive requests from multiple business partners across different time zones.

Inclusion is a Netflix value and we strive to host a meaningful interview experience for all candidates. If you want an accommodation/adjustment for a disability or any other reason during the hiring process, please send a request to your recruiting partner.

We are an equal-opportunity employer and celebrate diversity, recognizing that diversity builds stronger teams. We approach diversity and inclusion seriously and thoughtfully. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, ancestry, national origin, caste, sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity or expression, age, disability, medical condition, pregnancy, genetic makeup, marital status, or military service.
