Publishing Coordinator (Tie-Ins), Consumer Products
We're looking to hire a Publishing Coordinator to take on the responsibility of creating executional plans and facilitating tie-ins across our portfolio of titles.
What you will do:
• Evaluate all Publishing MTI (marketing tie-in) requests globally
• Consult cross-functionally with global content, marketing, and publicity teams on strategic opportunity and positioning of Netflix titles in conjunction with the source material
• Cross check windowing to ensure alignment between book launch, marketing embargoes and content launch
• Source assets (key art, billing blocks, copyright, etc.) and deliver to publishers
• Review creative submissions and manage correspondence with all publishers
What we need from you:
• Demonstrated, 3+ years of relevant experience at a publisher, or reputable entertainment brand
• You are self-motivated and an excellent communicator, able to spearhead and manage delicate conversations with internal and external partners around topics such as talent/creator sensitivities, embargoed material, territory or term limitation, restrictions on marketing, etc.
• Comprehensive understanding of the publishing process at an operational level
• Combination of creative, strategic thinking and detail-oriented operations capabilities
• Self-motivated, flexible individual with strong communication and leadership skills
• Capable of working with partners from around the world
