The mission of the Production Operations & Technology Solutions (POTS) team is to empower Netflix to achieve its operational goals and creative pursuits through production solutions, media technologies, and workflow optimization.

We closely partner with our internal product and engineering teams to develop media technology solutions for the Studio, and leverage our global footprint to effectively test, scale rollout and oversee adoption / support of production tools and workflows.

We are looking for an execution-oriented, highly effective Program Manager who is excited to shape the future of production and the operationalization of bleeding-edge technology that will delight both our creative partners and audiences around the world.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead strategic planning and execution framework for a complex portfolio in the domains of production solutions and media technologies.
• Partner with Netflix product teams and production technology teams when developing internal solutions or evaluating 3rd party solutions to provide business context and a practical perspective to foster alignment around preferred/recommended solutions.
• Ensure media technology investments are interlocked with business goals and operational strategies, solving for production or creative needs. This includes defining clear problem statements and business objectives, and performing feasibility study and diligence on the value proposition with cross-functional teams.
• Establish governance over program and resource allocation prioritization decisions, aligning them with key performance indicators (KPI).
• Strategize and implement change management plans and coordinate with regional teams and global support organizations to ensure the successful rollout of new products or operational processes; this includes partnering with key stakeholders to drive change management with minimal operational friction, crafting communication to key stakeholders, contributing to the creation of guidance and best practices documentation, and directly addressing challenges that may emerge during rollout.
• Establish a reliable and visible cadence for portfolio reviews, decision making, prioritization, and resource management, whereby improvements are measurable and have high-impact.

QUALIFICATIONS
• 7+ years of experience in project and/or program management, experience in both strongly preferred. Background in management consulting and/or holds an MBA degree is a plus.
• Experience with techniques and tools that drive process efficiency and continuous improvement (e.g. Six Sigma, Lean thinking, Scrum).
• Knowledge of the product development workflow strongly preferred, project management, user acceptance testing, and functional documentation development.
• Knowledge and experience of the content creation process preferred, on set production and post-production services, and associated workflows and metadata.
• Ability to quickly grasp concepts related to 'bleeding edge' technology.
• Experience and ability to respectfully and confidently engage with executives and operators.
• Ability to multitask and handle a heavy volume of work, supervising several projects in various stages.
• Ability to manage and operate in ambiguous situations and think on your feet to solve challenges and problems.
