Job Description
The Netflix Talent Data Strategy team, under Talent Operations, optimizes the information architecture and reporting in our HCM system (Workday) to align with organizational objectives and maximize the value of Talent data. We are seeking a curious Operations Analyst (focused on Workday reporting) that will be responsible for empowering all levels of Netflix leadership to make timely, actionable, data driven, and strategic decisions through the creation of scalable, efficient, intuitive, self-service reporting.
The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of Workday reporting and data processes, serving as a subject matter expert in delivering data and analytics solutions that support Talent objectives and business needs in alignment with organizational strategy. You will collaborate with Talent leadership and partner teams to find innovative ways of delivering meaningful metrics, trends, key insights, and analysis in clear, concise stories. This role offers tremendous job satisfaction for a highly motivated problem solver through participation in requirements definition, development, training, and implementation.
Responsibilities:
• As a subject matter expert in talent metrics, you need to understand the full employee life cycle and apply knowledge to deliver analytical solutions
• Gather and document requirements, assess complexity and level of effort estimates, prioritizes capacity, and defines development and analysis timelines
• Organizes and monitors persona-based report packages and inventory to maximize self-service reporting functionality and minimize ad-hoc report requests; identify and remediate duplicative and deprecated fields
• Adhere to data governance standards and security while evaluating and optimizing field performance
• Develop and maintain the reporting catalog and data dictionary to ensure consistent naming, descriptions, tagging, formatting, filters, and share permissions; develop and maintain calculated fields, summary calculations, and analytic indicators
• Identify test scenarios, develop test scripts, and provide key support in Workday feature releases, security, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Develop and deliver training to support self-service reporting, data literacy, scheduling, and best practices
• Communicate complex information in a clear and influential manner
Basic Qualifications:
• As a subject matter expert in talent metrics, you need to understand the full employee life cycle and apply knowledge to deliver analytical solutions
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Workday reporting or data analytics is required
• Experience in documenting reporting requirements and deploying reports
• Advanced Report Writer and Calculated Fields Workday Certifications
• Strong project management, communication, and customer service skills
• Analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
• Track record of realizing solutions from conception to implementation and support
• Attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
• Degree in HR, Business, IT, or related field
• Experience with Workday Prism and certifications in Prism Analytics and Discovery Boards
• 1-3 years of HR discipline experience or as an HR Generalist
• Familiarity with Zendesk ticket system

The overall market range for roles in this area of Netflix is typically $80,000 - $335,000.
