Over the last few years, the UCAN Content Creative team has grown significantly. The HR Manager will act as an influential partner in helping people managers with talent management processes, people development, and employee relations concerns. Thanks to their visibility across TV and Film businesses and their partnerships with the managers' and employees' , the HR manager is in a position to spot trends and identify emerging needs and address them with innovative people programs, tools, and processes.
What You'll Do:
• Serve as the primary point of contact and support to UCAN content creative managers, coordinators and assistants, in partnership with Content HR Leadership
• Conduct training across UCAN Content creative teams in partnership with Content HR Leadership
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of development opportunities for junior staff in partnership with the Content HR leadership and Talent Acquisition
• Provide coaching, guidance, and support to managers, coordinators, and creative assistants
• Analyze data and observations across the organization, highlighting trends and recommending/driving solutions, as appropriate
• Consult Managers on Compensation matters throughout compensation planning, and during off-cycle and exception compensation requests, thanks to their deep knowledge of the Netflix compensation philosophy
• Coach and guide managers during Talent Management processes, particularly in developing toolkits and communications that help managers to be self-sufficient with Talent discussions
• Create and deploy career development opportunities within the manager, coordinator and junior staff
What You'll Need:
• A relationship-first approach that prioritizes people over process
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience
• Comfort and experience being in a creative environment
• A strong ability to identify and address potential learning gaps across the team, particularly for rising leaders
• Strong communication skills
• Possess genuine curiosity; bring insight into the team & business
• Strong business acumen and the ability to learn quickly and 'catch up' to shifts in the business
• Enthusiasm for Netflix's culture.
