The Los Gatos facilities Director role is a key part of the global workplace team managing building for the Los Gatos campus. Additionally, this role will oversee our Salt Lake City, UT and Boulder, CO offices. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing facilities management operations activities for Netflix in the campus and other offices. Future space planning is expected and this role will be integral in building out our new spaces however our newly designed offices are implemented to support Netflix growth.
Success in this role is consistently delivering a workplace that enables our employees to do their best work, while also giving them an office environment that represents Netflix. The role will be responsible for all aspects of the workplace experience, ranging from managing day-to-day facilities operations to workplace strategy. The ideal candidate will be adept at strongly partnering with local employees and leadership to drive workplace strategy and enhancement.
Responsibilities:
• Directly lead Workplace Operations & Experience teams who oversee all building operations, office planning, front of house, shipping & receiving, events support, employee moves, and small construction & engineering projects.
• Responsible for Workplace Strategy which requires partnering with CREWS functions (Space & Occupancy Planning, Design & Construction, and Real Estate) to drive Netflix forward.
• Develops and manages a strong communication strategy, in conjunction with other regional leads, to ensure cohesive communications across all sites.
• Partners closely and communicates proactively with site business leadership on any process change, service enhancement or workplace related impacts to a site.
• Partners with regional business leaders to understand business goals with a drive to be predictive with service needs.
• Collaborate with the Real Estate & Portfolio Management teams on real estate efforts as necessary.
• Collaborate with CREWS team members to plan & deliver capital projects.
• Seek out and identify opportunities for process improvements and innovative solutions to enhance overall service delivery.
• Drive a service delivery model across all aspects of CREWS to create consistency across the portfolio and leverage our scale for procuring goods & services.
• Build and lead a cross-functional team that ensures our real estate assets are able to support operations without business interruption.
• Financial management of workplace and real estate costs to ensure Netflix money is being spent wisely.
• Responsible for understanding and maintaining local and regional governmental compliance.
