Job Description
Who we are
From games on TV to mobile and web, Next Games is a Netflix first-party studio that develops approachable games to entertain a diverse, global audience.
We design games that Netflix members can enjoy every day as part of their subscription. Our games released on Netflix to date include TV games Boggle Party, Pictionary Game Night, Party Crashers: Fool Your Friends, and Underwatermelon, as well as Netflix Puzzled, available on mobile devices and on tudum.com.
We proudly combine our Finnish game development culture with Netflix's global entertainment culture, embracing the strengths of both and empowering our talented and diverse teams to deliver their best work yet.
The Role
As an Executive Producer, Live Services, you will lead a dedicated Live Services team, closely partnering with Product Management and other cross-functional teams.
In this role, you will orchestrate development across internal teams and external studios, align execution with the product strategy and business objectives, and ensure a steady cadence of high-impact, high-quality deliveries for our players.
You are accountable not only for production excellence but also for the live product performance of your portfolio. You will partner with Product Managers to shape product vision, define and track KPIs, and translate insights into roadmaps, features, and live operations plans that drive player engagement and business impact.
You will lead and mentor the Live Service team, foster a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and ownership, and develop ways of working that support both sustainable live services and a healthy work-life balance.

Responsibilities:
Co-Development Strategy & Product Outcomes:
• Own the co-development and live services strategy for your portfolio, including partner mix, capacity, and allocation of major initiatives
• With Game Directors and Product Managers, shape product vision and live service strategy for each title
• Ensure the roadmaps and production plans deliver high impact business and player outcomes
Product Leadership & Stakeholder Management:
• Act as the primary production and live product counterpart for senior leadership, publishing, brand, and transmedia
• Report on your games' performance, learnings, and business impact, providing clear visibility on roadmaps, risks, and trade-offs across multiple live titles
• Partner with Product managers to prioritize features, content, systems, and experiments that drive engagement, retention, and member value
• Own long-range live operations planning and budgets
Cross-Functional Alignment:
• Serve as the senior connector between internal teams and co-dev studios
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver high-impact features and live updates that address player needs and move key metrics
• Coordinate with Marketing and Product Discovery to support growth, discovery, and engagement within the Netflix ecosystem
Quality, Delivery & Live Service Excellence:
• Own the overall quality bar, player experience, and delivery standards for live services of your portfolio of titles, communicating clear expectations and feedback to our co-dev partners to execute on
• Oversee frameworks for feature reviews, acceptance, and go/no-go decisions
• Define escalation paths for hotfixes and incidents, run postmortems, and feed learnings back into process and product improvements
• Advocate sustainable, player-first live services that balance ambition, quality, velocity, and team health

Skills and Abilities:
• You are a strategic, product-minded, team-oriented leader who leads by example, with a passion for live service-driven games. You are able to balance production realities with player value and business outcomes, while excelling in cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficient in using data to analyze game performance, communicate priorities, and evaluate opportunities, including experimentation and A/B testing
• Highly organized, with a knack for quickly identifying, sequencing, and prioritizing opportunities for maximum ROI and player impact
• Experience working with distributed or co-development teams
• Strong understanding of production processes, allowing you to comfortably and effectively work with modern production, collaboration, and analysis tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; confident presenting and giving feedback to senior leadership, publishers, and cross-functional stakeholders, including high-stakes executive forums. Ability to craft strong product narratives.

Experience:
• Experience as a lead or senior producer / product manager on multiple shipped high-quality console, mobile, or PC/web projects
• Hands-on experience launching and/or running successful live-operated games, with demonstrable impact on engagement and retention
• Experienced in player-centric approaches to defining target audiences, understanding motivations, and shaping features and content to meet those needs
• Experience with combining data, insights and experimentation to validate hypotheses and inform product decisions and roadmaps (eg. quantitative & qualitative research methods, AB-testing.)
We aim high here at Next Games and will ask you to do the same. In exchange, you'll be part of a team that is great to work with, who is dedicated and passionate about what we do.
Our guiding light in growing our team is that we don't look for a culture fit - we look for what each person brings to our collective skillset, culture and values to make them richer. Will you be the person to make us better?
Inclusion is a Netflix value and we strive to host a meaningful interview experience for all candidates. If you want an accommodation/adjustment for a disability or any other reason during the hiring process, please send a request to your recruiting partner.
We are an equal-opportunity employer and celebrate diversity, recognizing that diversity builds stronger teams. We approach diversity and inclusion seriously and thoughtfully. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, ancestry, national origin, caste, sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity or expression, age, disability, medical condition, pregnancy, genetic makeup, marital status, or military service.
