The Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team leads with a solutions-oriented mindset, exceptional financial and business acumen, and outstanding communication skills that enable us to engage effectively with our stakeholders, executive leadership, and our peers. We are excited for the right candidate to join our team as a Director leading FP&A for the Finance & Operations (FinOps) organization. In this role, you will be responsible for strategic business analysis and financial forecasting for the CFO org which includes traditional Finance teams, as well as Corporate Real Estate, Aviation, and Customer Service. Senior management depends heavily on this group to provide high-level analyses of financial outcomes, leveraging historical data and predictive analytics to drive well-informed business decisions.

We are looking for someone who can drive financial planning through a strategic lens and be a critical and influential finance partner to the CFO and his leadership team. This role demands comfort with ambiguity, collaborative problem-solving, and the ability to manage complex work streams with multiple senior stakeholders. You are excited by the prospect of driving the evolution of the FinOps FP&A function, operating from first principles, and being a driven self-starter who delivers exceptional value and impact through the success of their team. The position reports to the Vice President of Corporate FP&A and can sit in our Los Angeles or Los Gatos office.

Responsibilities will include:
• Lead, grow, and develop a high-performing team in close partnership with the regional FP&A leaders in EMEA, LATAM, and APAC to drive a cohesive and integrated global financial outlook for the FinOps org
• Manage the full spectrum of activities in this space including annual planning, quarterly forecasting, performance against targets, and scalable reporting & analytics
• Partner closely with the CFO and their staff to develop and align long-term strategic and financial plans across the FinOps org
• Perform ad hoc financial analyses to deliver insights, facilitate trade off discussions, scenario planning, opportunity sizing, etc.
• Work closely with FinTech and Data Science teams to implement better forecasting & reporting frameworks, mechanisms, processes, and improved systems over time.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners, senior leaders, and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization to deliver on targets and drive efficient business decision making

Qualifications
• 15+ years of progressive finance experience in a fast-paced, highly analytical environment. Prior experience in FP&A, or strategic finance supporting a CFO or other C-Suite executive in the tech and/or media spaces is required
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with proven ability to build successful relationships and influence business partners at all levels
• Proven experience implementing and optimizing financial forecasting and reporting processes and systems
• Polished communication and presentation skills with a track record of presenting detailed financial information and analytics to executives and senior management clearly and concisely
• A strong attention to detail coupled with the ability to uplevel and simplify to drive clarity and inform rapid decisions
• Extensive experience with leading, executing, and communicating actionable quantitative and qualitative financial analysis to drive key business decisions
• Comfortable engaging in productive debate and making informed decisions
• A strong track record of growing, leading, and developing teams in an inclusive and high-performing culture
Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $310,000 - $830,000.

Salary Details
Salary Range: $310,000 to $830,000 Per Year ($ USD)
