We are seeking a Finance Director with experience in workforce strategy to join the Corporate Strategy, Planning & Analysis (SP&A) team. The Corporate SP&A team is responsible for company-wide financial planning, forecasting, and strategic analysis. We derive a significant competitive advantage from the highly analytical approach we take to managing the company's resources. The business heavily depends on the Corporate SP&A team to accurately track performance trends and identify opportunities for improvement, which is pivotal for our success. The outcomes of our group's analyses play a critical role in the strategic decisions made by our stakeholders and company leadership.

This role will be accountable for strategizing, planning, and executing initiatives as it relates to Netflix's global workforce, world-renowned company culture and organizational structure. This person will work closely with cross-functional teams and leaders, most frequently with HR, Recruiting, SP&A, and Finance Technology. This leader must have a commitment toward action, exceptional partnership and communication skills, and know how to balance getting the details right while still moving fast. You will gain invaluable experience in a position that offers significant responsibility and interaction with senior level executives at the company. The position will be based either in Los Angeles or Los Gatos and will report to the VP of Corporate SP&A.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Being a strategic thought-partner to our Chief Talent Officer and HR/Talent leadership to help evolve and improve all aspects of our HR organization. This would involve providing insights, strategic analysis and guidance to ensure the company has the right information in the best context to make sound business decisions.
• Play a key role in driving scale within our Talent function, through creative and disciplined portfolio optimization. Partner with the Talent leadership to identify key opportunities for automation, strategic placement of talent across the globe, outsourcing and other such levers.
• Developing insights and summarizing and synthesizing data to facilitate decision-making for executive management. Defining metrics & reporting tools to enable better business decisions.
• Working with systems teams to develop tools with easy to use interfaces to collect data from stakeholders and automate basic tasks.

Qualifications
• 10+ years of relevant experience -- ideally a combination in areas such as corporate HR strategy/ analytics, corporate finance and/ or management consulting; MBA or equivalent a plus.
• Strong track record of identifying key questions; defining, performing and coordinating analyses; communicating findings in a clear and concise way; and finding creative and innovative solutions.
• The successful candidate must display initiative in anticipating and meeting or exceeding the business demands of senior-level executives. The candidate must thrive in a fast-paced environment and exhibit the highest personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics.
• Netflix is fast-growing and we seek highly impactful colleagues, which means that employees are often asked to perform tasks with a range of difficulties. Candidate must be willing to ''roll up their sleeves'' and be motivated, disciplined, flexible and able to work effectively autonomously.
• Extremely proficient with financial modeling.
• Experience leading and developing teams.
• Candidate must also have the ability to collaborate effectively and drive initiatives with cross functional partners.
