Our core philosophy is people over process. The Safety and Security Team is looking for an experienced, talented and passionate security professional to join our ever-growing EMEA team. The new Corporate Security Operations Specialist's role will be key in supporting the team's broader requirements across what is a growing Netflix presence in the EMEA region and will report directly to the Corporate Security Operations Manager, EMEA. You will foster collaborative relationships with cross-functional partners to represent the team's enabling and agile approach to safety and security. You will be empowered to make things happen and have a natural inclination to work within a high performance culture that is fast paced and self-directed.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Netflix security, cross-functional counterparts, and external partners on all physical security matters impacting corporate sites across EMEA
• Remain up-to-date on the local security environment and identify emerging security trends which may impact the business
• Align with the Group Risk and Intelligence Team to ensure a commensurate level of security support is maintained in order to secure our staff, regional offices and brand reputation
• Support due diligence efforts to reduce risk by vetting security providers and other vendors, as required
• Maintain the contract security provider program from RFP development through contract negotiation, training, analysis, and execution
• Liaise with existing landlord contract security and surrounding property owners
• Manage and develop a multi-vendor / consultant network and leverage existing network to ensure appropriate solutions are in place to minimize business risk
• Update, implement, and rehearse incident and emergency response plans
• Support crisis management, contingency and business resilience efforts
• Draft timely and accurate security reports and written briefings for senior leadership

Qualifications

• A security professional with 5 years plus security management experience who is able to keep what is best for Netflix front and centre
• Self-directed; unambiguously able to own and drive your work, and to take advantage of the autonomy Netflix allows
• Thrives in a fast-paced, quickly-changing environment and is able to think spontaneously to resolve unique staff and business critical issues
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Ability to remain abreast of the local security environment and highlight emerging trends. Knowledge of risk assessment techniques
• A basic understanding of safety principles
• Highly ethical with an ability to handle sensitive / confidential information
• A willingness to travel across the EMEA region to support our security requirements
