The Role: Netflix is seeking a Communications Manager to join the EMEA regional PR team. This team shapes the story of Netflix in EMEA, working across both internal and external communications.
Our ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, strong communicator, creative campaigner, and relationship builder, who can be a trusted partner and adviser to teams across multiple disciplines. Strong writing skills, a willingness to learn rapidly and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced culture are key.

The position will play a critical role on a small team, so the responsibility is wide-ranging and tasks can shift day to day.
Overall responsibilities and expectations for the position include but are not limited to:
• Partner closely with teams across the business, with a focus on the policy and finance organizations to shape our corporate narrative in EMEA.
• Manage and maintain exceptional relationships with business, financial and trade media as well as key industry influencers - becoming a great Netflix advocate with these audiences.
• Devise and implement campaigns across the region that help define the Netflix narrative with the media, our industry, partners and third parties.
• Determine strategic and opportunistic PR initiatives, events and conferences and develop programs that will reinforce the Netflix brand.
• Handle crisis-response issues timely, calmly and brilliantly.
• Make wise decisions, even when faced with ambiguity, and think strategically.
• Be a trusted advisor and partner to the EMEA senior management team, particularly the EMEA CFO, EMEA General Counsel, and EMEA head of Public Policy.
• Serve as an external spokesperson for the company.

Qualifications:
• 7+ years of experience in communications, preferably within media, government, policy, entertainment and/or technology industries.
• A good understanding of the EMEA and Brussels media landscape and the confidence to build strong relationships with journalists.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to write quickly and concisely about complex policy, financial, and legal topics.
• Skilled in executive communications and partnership.
• Excellent relationship building skills.
• Strong project management.
• Ability to work proactively, independently and juggle multiple tasks at once.
• Meticulous organizational skills, good judgment of brand and comms risks, and effective time management.
• Have a point of view, and be able to offer their unique perspective and voice.

The role will frequent travel to Brussels and periodic travel to other locations across EMEA.

We approach diversity and inclusion seriously and thoughtfully.
