Responsibilities
• Lead and support strategic value-added analyses to measure and forecast the impact of payment method offerings and monitor payments processing performance for the North America region.
• Support credit/debit card issuers and brands (Visa/Mastercard) engagement with the payments team with a focus on improving performance.
• Monitor payment cost metrics, identify trends and opportunities for cost savings with key vendors and strategic payment partners.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure the payment processing fees are correctly applied per contract and ecosystem rules.
• Work cross-functionally throughout the organization (e.g. payments managers, partnership and operations, PMs, data science & engineering, billing and payments engineering) to support implementation of payment solutions and payments fee negotiations, and lead the related performance measurement.
• Define and develop metric dashboards for payment cost reporting and ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Create insightful presentations to facilitate decision-making for internal stakeholders and external partners.

Qualifications
• 3-5 years of work experience, ideally with some relevant payments experience
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, statistics, or other relevant field is preferred
• Curious, motivated, disciplined, and able to work autonomously.
• Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to use business intelligence tools (SQL and Tableau), build spreadsheet models, and sort through complex data to crystallize business implications.
• Strong project management and great collaboration skills across multiple functional areas.
• Skilled at crafting a data-driven story and presenting to senior management.
• Experience and comfort with a high degree of freedom and responsibility.
• Able to remain highly organized in a loosely structured and fast-paced environment.
