As a key player in the Data Science and Engineering team within Growth and Monetization, we collaborate closely with stakeholders from Product, Engineering, Finance, Content, Data Science, and central/regional leadership teams. This role involves delivering valuable insights and quantitative findings from data, shaping the overall pricing strategy, contributing to long-term planning, as well as influencing various tactical decisions. Experiences you have
• Considerable proficiency in utilizing SQL, data wrangling (using tools like Python, R, Spark), and the ability to construct ad hoc datasets.
• Significant expertise in data visualization (employing platforms like Tableau, Shiny), including the creation of ad hoc visualizations and dashboards.
• Fluency in a programming language (e.g., Python), robust programming skills, and familiarity with version control systems (such as Github, Stash) are advantageous.
• Demonstrated strong analytical skills.
• Desirable domain knowledge in finance or consumer pricing.

What you will do
• Proactively conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover fresh insights that contribute to executive decision-making.
• Collaborate with data engineers and fellow analytics engineers to create data pipelines for impactful reporting and analysis.
• Create tooling and dashboards to enhance self-service capabilities and facilitate access to pricing insights.
• Engage closely with cross-functional stakeholders in finance, product, engineering, and data science to inform critical strategic decisions.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional product squads on innovative initiatives.
Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $170,000 - $720,000.

We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
