Job Description
Responsibilities
The VP, Decision Tools and & Analytics will be responsible for driving a wide variety of cross-functional, high impact projects requiring the intervention of the data & analytics team. This role will interact with the executive team and business leaders across Telemundo to identify strategic business needs and deliver data focused insights that impact operational, programming, marketing, cross-platform content development and revenue decisions. This role will be part of a multi-faceted Analytics, Research & Insights team and will help create and implement Telemundo's overall insights strategy.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Shapes and formalizes the data strategy and vision for Telemundo with a focus on addressing high profile business use cases.
• Works directly with internal client teams to identify key business problems and create data-based solutions.
• Leads the business application of all data offerings and platforms across Telemundo.
• Collaborates with Telemundo and NBCU data science and technology teams and external vendors to develop data products including advanced dashboards, data visualizations, predictive modeling, and aggregation of large-scale Hispanic data sets.
• Leverages advanced analytics background to interpret multi-channel data to provide recommendations on optimal marketing mix, predictive programming strategies, growing audiences across platforms and identifying revenue opportunities.
• Responsible for ensuring that a data-driven culture is integrated within the fabric of all Telemundo's divisions.
• Identifies data gaps around the Hispanic consumer and drives methodology enhancements to better capture information around this key consumer segment.

Qualifications/Requirements
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum ten (10) years of experience within a managerial/leadership role providing data driven insights to complex business solutions.
• Prior experience working in a consultative capacity with internal client teams to understand needs and develop solutions.

• Proficient written and verbal communications with demonstrated success in communicating and presenting data and concepts to clients and audiences with varying levels of data proficiency.
• Demonstrated expertise and knowledge across web analytics, cross-platform measurement, and marketing analytics.
• A proven inspirational leader with the foresight and business experience to provide vision, strategy, and direction for delivering data insights to senior executives and various internal client teams.
• A track record of thought leadership and ability to affect change and impact organizational thinking.
• Deep subject matter knowledge of the evolving media landscape particularly around multicultural audiences.
• Demonstrated strong analytic ability; critical thinker; fast learner; proactive problem solver and ability to partner across all level of the organization.
• Knowledge of BI tools such as Tableau, DOMO, SAS, SPSS, MS Business Objects.
• Expertise in Omniture, Google Analytics, YouTube Analytics, Facebook Insights or other digital measurement tools strongly preferred.
• MBA or Advanced Degree a plus.
