Job Description
As Vice President of Workplace Engineering & Operations at Versant, you will play a pivotal leadership role in shaping and delivering a best-in-class digital workplace experience for our global organization. Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), you will oversee a broad portfolio of critical IT functions, including Digital Workplace Technology, Enterprise Workplace Operations, and Operational Intelligence.
This role is responsible for leading a team of Sr. Directors, Managers and their respective functions across End User Computing, Unified Communications, Tech Support, IT Operations, Executive Support, Business Intelligence, and Proactive Incident Management. You will drive strategic initiatives that enhance collaboration, user productivity, and operational resilience, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and the evolving needs of the business.
This is a high-impact leadership position that requires a visionary approach to technology operations, strong organizational acumen, and a people-first mindset to enable an efficient, secure, and innovative work environment.

Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic direction and operational leadership across Workplace Engineering & Operations, overseeing three primary functions: Digital Workplace Technology, Enterprise Workplace Operations, and Operational Intelligence.
• Lead a team of senior directors and managers, fostering a high-performance culture that prioritizes service excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement across all workplace technology domains.
• Ensure delivery of seamless, secure, and scalable end-user experiences by overseeing key areas such as End User Computing, Unified Communications, and Campus Services.
• Direct Enterprise Workplace Operations functions including Tech Bar support, AV technology, and international IT operations.
• Oversee the execution and optimization of L1/L2 service delivery and IT support models.
• Ensure high-touch technology support for executive leadership, maintaining exceptional standards in responsiveness, availability, and discretion.
• Oversee proactive operations, incident management, and business intelligence efforts to monitor system health, anticipate disruptions, and drive data-informed decisions.
• Partner with other IT and business leaders to align workplace technology initiatives with organizational objectives, transformation programs, and employee experience goals.
• Ensure adherence to information security, compliance, acceptable use and operational risk standards within all workplace technology operations.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
• 10+ years' experience in leading large-scale IT operations and technology management, preferably in a global enterprise environment.
• Demonstrated success in implementing multimillion dollar technology projects and innovations.
• Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and high performance.
• Demonstrated understanding of the latest technology trends, enterprise IT solutions, and best practices.

Desired Characteristics:
• Experience in managing IT support, TechBar services, Service Delivery, and Executive Support in a large-scale, dynamic environment.
• Track record of driving transformation in enterprise operations through cloud-based collaboration solutions and technology innovations.
• Proficient in managing product life cycles, from conception to launch, with a focus on user experience and quality assurance.
• Strong strategic planning, project management, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in communications, Media Studies, or a related field a plus; MBA in Strategic Leadership and Business Policies preferred.
