Responsibilities

The Enterprise Data Organization (EDO) is responsible for collection, standardization, and management of data across NBCUniversal to enable for activation, monetization, and engagement in secure, privacy-centric ways. EDO has recently released the NBCUnified platform which enables the NBCU ID, Data Marketplace, and Partner Integrations capabilities that will enable NBCU's data strategy and create competitive differentiation.

The Vice President, Brand Engagement is responsible, directly and through team members, for enabling through data strategy, data design and data compliance the integration of first-party consumer data from the NBCU business units into NBCU Enterprise Data infrastructure, oversight of insight & analysis supporting marketing teams and expanding the Enterprise Data products and services across business units. This role will be responsible for identifying and prioritizing data capabilities needed to support Enterprise data and NBCU business units, working across NBCU Ad Sales and NBCU business units on what and how data available can support the objective of both groups.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Owning, maintaining, and strengthening relationships with NBCU business unit brands to identify opportunities for first party data enablement, driving strategic business outcomes and being the lead when working with NBCU brands to leverage data to support their businesses.
• In partnership with NBCU business units, provide strategic guidance and develop data strategies and roadmaps that support consumer data acquisition, engagement, and retention, taking into consideration enterprise synergies and requirements, data responsibility and regulatory environment.
• Coordinate and direct cross-functional teams across the larger Enterprise Data group, including product, technology, data insights and legal to support and enable NBCU business marketing teams in leveraging enterprise data infrastructure and ad sales capabilities for brand marketing efforts across owned and paid campaigns, while also developing opportunities to create advertising inventory to be used for external partners and internal cross-promotion including Symphony priorities.
• Provide thought leadership to and advocate for NBCU business units across Enterprise Data group to ensure data capabilities to support CRM and data strategies are developed and necessary support is in place to implement, maintain and provide insights, coordinating with the relevant stakeholders and partners to develop an infrastructure through which brands can learn from, make requests to and receive insights from the Enterprise Data group.
• Represent NBCU marketing interests with data governance team to develop and operate a data compliance program partnering with legal privacy and compliance to ensure the continuing and expanding collection, use and sharing of data comply with privacy, data responsibility and industry standards, including GDPR and CCPA.

Qualifications/Requirements
• Minimum 10 years-experience working in a client facing role at a performance or growth marketing agency or consultancy.
• Proven track record of developing relationships with stakeholders to drive initiatives, identify opportunities, and deliver solutions.
• Demonstrated outstanding strategy skills.
• Demonstrated well-developed understanding of consumer behaviours and usage patterns.
