Job Description

Role Purpose:

NBCUniversal seeks a Payroll Administrator for the Union Pension, Health & Welfare (PH&W) Disbursement group. The PH&W Disbursement group is responsible for managing disbursements, reconciliations, reporting, inquiries, audits, and special projects involving over 150 Local labor contracts. This position will assist with inquiries, analysis, reconciliations, and special projects. The responsibilities will include but not be limited to, evaluating weekly disbursements, producing analytical reports, responding to inquiries from external and internal Business Partners, assisting with PHW related audits, and ad-hoc projects as necessary.

Responsibilities:
• Resolve inquiries coming from external vendors
• Prepare analytical disbursement reports
• Analyze and reconcile disbursement reports
• Conduct SAP system testing for changes to vendor requirements and ad-hoc enhancements
• Correspond with external and internal Business Partners
• Prepare and review large amounts of data
• Support ad-hoc and special projects

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:
• BS/BA degree in Accounting or Finance a plus
• 1-3 years of experience performing audits of payroll in support of union pension, health and welfare would be helpful
• Ability to work with tight deadlines under a fast-paced environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Must be very detail oriented
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, prioritization, written and verbal communication skills, along with flexibility to shift priorities as needed
• Effective organization and planning skills
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Proficient in Excel

Desired Characteristics:
• SAP experience is a plus
• Self-motivated

• This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
