Responsibilities
Stamford Media Center is seeking a full time Travel Agent to work with all day to day operations as outlined below. This is a Run of Show position with an anticipated end date of August 1, 2020.
Responsibilities:
*Coordinates all show guest and staff travel
*Assure that all travel requests follow stated NBC travel guidelines and obtain all necessary approvals prior to confirming any bookings
*Works closely with Unit Manager to book airfare, hotels and ground transportation
*Works closely with producing teams in assuring their guests arrive on time
*Works with Production Management to make sure all costs are tracked, accounted for and submitted for approval. Present costs associated with various show elements in a full, detailed spreadsheet and help production management work out the most cost-effective way to travel the show
Qualifications/Requirements
*Minimum 2-4 years professional working experience in corporate travel booking preferred
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and navigating the Internet
*Bachelor's degree preferred

*Production Experience and / or administrative experience within TV production or show environment desired

*Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments under high pressure in a fast-paced environment
*Ability to follow direction and work independently when necessary
*Prior experience booking travel for show guests and staff is desired
*Ability to work within a team environment
*Prior NBCU experience desired
