Sr. Manager, Supplier Diversity Analytics

Job Description

Responsibilities
Role Purpose:
An experienced supplier diversity professional who will help lead vendor inclusion strategies at NBCUniversal. Responsible for generating comprehensive data analytics and programmatic support to promote and drive supplier diversity growth. Develops operational objectives supported by data analysis and trends. Contributes to functional strategy development, and ensures plans are aligned with business objectives.

Responsibilities:

Performance Monitoring/Tracking/Reporting
• Evaluate vendor partner metrics
• Generate supplier diversity forecasting and trends
• Develop reports and dashboards related to supplier diversity contracting, spending activity and performance
• Measure direct and Tier II (subcontracting) results
• Respond to surveys and request for proposals
• Lead semi-annual data enrichment process
• Ensure alignment and consistency for the data sets across Corporate, Comcast Cable and NBCUniversal
• Own progress reporting and troubleshooting to ensure data is consistent and accurate
• Leverage data and KPIs to provide recommendations to management
• Develop and maintain a portfolio of diverse suppliers for NBCUniversal commodities
• Provide internal exposure of identified suppliers and partner with leaders to consistently include diverse suppliers in the competitive bidding process

Program Management
• Structure project implementation guidelines, and plan supplier development programs
• Manage NBCUniversal's interactions with select supplier diversity advocacy organizations
• Develop targeted outreach and capacity building activities
• Attend/support external events that generate visibility and contracting opportunities for diverse firms
• Coordinate project planning, design, resourcing, and vendor management
• Provide timely and accurate information and status updates to project sponsors and management

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
• MBA preferred
• Working knowledge of strategic sourcing methodology and supplier contracting

• Must be willing to work in New York, NY

• Effective collaborator and promoter with the ability to influence internal clients
• Superior project management skills and follow-through
• Established relationships with diverse supplier community and advocacy groups a plus
• Entertainment industry experience a plus
• Scope will include occasional activities during the evenings and weekends
