Responsibilities
ROLE
The Sr Manager, Human Resources will provide a broad range of HR support for the Universal Filmed Entertainment Groups (UFEG) Marketing division. This role will primarily be responsible for partnering with the US-based Marketing teams by directly supporting employees at all levels, providing strategic input into organization design, supporting the DEI mission, managing employee relations issues, ensuring a robust talent pipeline, leading the performance management process, compensation planning, succession planning and all other HR initiatives for this population. This role will report directly into the Sr Director, Human Resources.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Establish and maintain a strong understanding of designated client groups and the overall business
• Build effective, productive and positive working relationships with business leaders and employees at all levels
• Help leaders understand levers that reinforce a collaborative culture; lead with our values, drive engagement, foster an inclusive and diverse environment, and create a high-quality employee experience
• Lead HR processes in partnership with NBCU, UFEG and HR COE's including benefits, performance management, compensation/reward management, learning & development, employee engagement & communication
• Responsible for recruitment oversight, headcount and budget management in partnership with Finance for designated client group
• Partner with our Talent Management team to assess employee training and development needs in order to help close gaps between current and future skill sets
• Coach leaders to effectively lead, manage and develop their teams; offering feedback and advice on issues
• Work to resolve employee and organizational issues, providing coaching to employees and leaders in a proactive and compassionate manner
• Create an environment of positive employee relations by respecting confidentiality, establishing trust and credibility, being seen by employees as approachable and fair, balancing business needs with employee needs, and spending significant time interfacing directly with employees
• Interpret and implement HR policies, practices and procedures for managers, teams and individual employees that further the mission, values and strategic vision of the department
• Partner with Compensation and Employment Law to proactively review pay equity and provide recommendations
• Leverage expertise of Legal, Labor Relations and our Fair Employment Practices teams to resolve complex Employee Relations or Code-of-Conduct related activities
• Drive diversity, equity and inclusion within the organization, personally and programmatically
• Participate in broader HR projects across the Filmed Entertainment HR team
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field of study
• Minimum of 7 years relevant HR experience
• Proficient knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Experience with HR information systems, such as SAP

• Proven ability to take ownership and establish self as the 'go-to' HR resource

• Project and process management skills, demonstrated track record of delivering results
