Job Description

As the SR Director of Internal Communications, you will develop, lead, and support all employee-focused communications initiatives for teams across the Global Advertising & Partnerships business.

Reporting to the Vice President of Communications, you will lead the internal communications function for the group, be a key member of the communications team and be an internal advocate and ambassador for the entire Advertising & Partnerships portfolio across the globe.

When joining this team, you will be responsible for all employee and senior leadership communications, the planning and execution of division-wide meetings and Town Halls and the amplification and execution of division culture initiatives. This individual will work closely alongside the Advertising and Partnerships HR and DEI team to establish streamlined communications that ensure the entire sales employee base feel supported, connected and aware of division and company priorities.

You must have experience in internal and/or employee communications, either in-house or agency, and experience with senior executive support - preferably within the media or tech industry.

Ideally, you will be a creative, motivated self-starter with incredible attention to detail, appreciation for the advertising industry, a team-focused attitude, and a solutions-oriented approach.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Develop and execute a complete internal communications strategy that both supports the Advertising and Partnerships division goals as well as the broader company goals across Global, National and Local offices.
• Support programs and channels that equip employees with the information, resources, and excitement they need to fuel excellence and pride in their jobs.
• Help to develop and deliver leadership and employee events for the Advertising and Partnerships business, including in-person and virtual Town Halls, leadership meetings, employee culture initiatives and other special programming.
• In collaboration with teams across the division, develop and execute content and channel strategy to drive employee engagement and awareness (e.g., e-mail/newsletters, Microsoft Teams communications, SharePoint and intranet site updates).
• Monitor trends and apply insights to go-forward internal communications plans.
• Support experiential activities for employees including Lunch and Learns and more as the Internal Communications function continues to expand.
• Partner with HR to promote a positive employee experience, integrating Diversity, Equity and Inclusion priorities, wellness and recognition programs into internal communications cadence.
• Identify opportunities to create synergy across NBCU divisions and Comcast through HR, marketing, publicity and symphony.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience in internal communications
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills required
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States

Additional Requirements
• Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minim of three days per week with flexibility to adjust as business needs dictate.

Salary range: $140,000 - $185,000, Bonus and Long-Term Incentive Eligible

Salary Details
Salary Range: $140,000 to $185,000 Per Year ($ USD)
