Job Description

The NBCU Ad Sales Center of Excellence is looking for a Sr. Director who will help identify and democratize knowledge across the Global Advertising and Partnerships division by building tools and resources for increased productivity. The Sr. Director will report to the SVP of the CoE. The ideal candidate will have wide knowledge of the media sales landscape, with previous experience interfacing with multiple disciplines and C-Suite executives. This position will consult with internal divisions, understanding their needs for product knowledge, systems, or process efficiencies and help develop training and tools that will spark immediate impact. Additionally, this candidate will function as the right hand to the SVP in terms of supporting the strategy and growth areas for the CoE as our One Platform business model continues to evolve.

Primary Responsibilities
• Collaborate with multiple distinct functions (Sales, Marketing, Planning, Business Operations and Strategy and more) across the division to identify best in class knowledge and develop new means for distribution across the division
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities, creating a consistent enterprise approach across the division
• Provide consultative services to the business functions regarding product learning opportunities and best approach to deliver information to or train cross-functional teams
• Partner with and recruit internal Ambassadors (knowledge experts) to deliver live and eLearning modules, allowing for employee development and knowledge transparency for the division
• Collaborate with HR and our Learning and Development teams to bring business knowledge to professional development programs like Career Pathing, New Hire Journey, and Goal Setting
• Work with industry organizations to development programs for our employees that will ensure we continue to be the best-in-class media sales organization
• Consult with team leaders to understand training needs and build programs to strengthen team skills
• Work with content owners to democratize content across the division
• Work with management to prioritize business and learning needs
• Manage one employee who oversees communication and support of internal intranet and democratizing knowledge across the division

• 10+ years of Media Sales/Sales Management experience across multiple platforms
• Extensive knowledge of media industry, the sales process and media in general
• Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word

• Industry knowledge - Understanding the Media Sales landscape, marketing and sales process is a requirement for the role.

• Process and detail oriented, including strong organization, time management and prioritization skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and presentation skills are required
• Proven ability to manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to multi-task and work well under time constraints
