Job Description

The NBC Program Operations Research Team is seeking a Senior Analyst to join our fantastic team!
Our team is the main liaison between NBCUniversal and Nielsen and supports the TV business through the submission of our schedules to ensure accurate ratings. The perfect candidate will have at least 2-3 years of media experience who are passionate about the industry, organized, detail oriented and want to be part of a team.

Responsibilities
• Responsible for the creation and maintenance of high-quality Linear TV/VOD/Streaming viewing data and metadata for business stakeholders
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Broadcast and Cable clients to collect all necessary information needed for submitting and maintaining schedules/program changes
• Utilize Nielsen's NCL system to input NBC Broadcast/NBC Video on Demand/NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment networks schedules
• Opportunity to work on projects leveraging TV, digital, or multiplatform viewership data to report trends and communicate key insights
• Responsible to handling Live Sports on USA, E!, and Syfy
• Ensuring our high profile Universal Pay One movies get priority Peacock measurement status
• Play a key role with tentpole events like the Olympics, political events, and award shows

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Communications or related field
• 2-3 years of media experience
• Not required, but would be a plus to be familiar with: Nielsen's NCL (Nielsen Content Link), PowerPoint, Excel and other visualization tools
• Flexible hours to cover some early morning/weekend deadlines

• Self-starter, resourceful, flexible, proactive & a true team-player who is willing to pitch in wherever needed
• Attention to detail, accuracy, organization, strong problem-solving skills and strong work ethic are essential
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal clients and Nielsen

Additional Requirements

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
