Responsibilities

Role Summary

Responsibilities of the Syndication & DTS Ad Sales Finance team is to support revenue across the First Run, Off Net and 3rd Party titles as well as Branded Entertainment and Direct to Scale.

In this role you will be a key part of Ad Sales Finance team that supports Syndication and Portfolio Direct to Scale leadership. Ad Sales Finance supports all aspects of budgeting and reporting of Advertising Sales revenue. There is cross functional exposure to Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Corporate Finance. There is the opportunity to grow in this role and to gain exposure across the portfolio.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Provide ongoing support to Director, Ad Sales Finance in fundamental reporting and analysis
• Support weekly, monthly, and quarterly finance cycles including budgeting, long range planning, and monthly close
• Prepare presentations for leadership & perform ad hoc analyses, providing insightful views into financial performance
• Work closely with portfolio and entertainment groups to report trends, variances, and ad-hoc analysis
• Coordinate and assist Sales and Finance teams to set up Upfront materials, assumptions, and operations
• Support Direct-to-Scale leadership team with weekly PowerPoint decks as well as provide detailed analysis
• Gain in-depth knowledge of all Sales & Finance systems used for reporting (SAP, OnAir, Salesforce, Business Intelligence, etc.)
• Develop expertise in TV ad market trends, growth, and competition

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience, including financial modeling
• Previous experience in advertising sales or at a media company a plus

Eligibility Requirements
• Willingness to travel and work overtime, and on weekends with short notice
• Must be willing to work in New York, NY
• Must be in the office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States

Salary Range: $70,000-$95,000
