Job Description
Responsibilities
NBCUniversal is looking for a Senior Analyst to join the Ad Impact team within the NBCU Ad Sales organization. S/he will help evaluate the success of advertiser campaigns and optimize media plans across the NBCU One Platform to drive positive impact on business outcomes. The Senior Analyst will interact with internal clients, advertisers, agencies and vendors to assist in the development and execution of research plans that evaluate overall campaign impact, as well as the impact and benefits of specific campaign elements, properties/programs and platforms. This person will also play an integral role in the standardization of reporting templates and assist in the development of companywide research norms. Candidates should be knowledgeable about the advertising industry, be passionate about entertainment and the media business, and have experience with cross-platform measurement (Linear, Digital, Social). Candidates must be able to use research and analytics to develop actionable insights and effectively tell a story on behalf of advertisers.

Responsibilities
• Utilize both syndicated and custom research tools to evaluate advertiser campaign performance across both linear and digital, including Peacock and partners including Apple, Facebook, Google and Snap
• Effectively craft and present advertiser campaign recap reports that communicate insights in visually compelling formats
• Innovate the current marketplace, working with senior research management in evaluating new research tools and other data sources to understand capabilities and potential benefits
• Support VP and Senior Director of Ad Impact with high level priorities, plus work with stakeholders across the organization in a highly visible role
• Collaborate with third-party vendors to manage campaign tracking and measurement plans
• Establish standardized report templates for common methodologies and building of norms
• Collaborate across NBCU Measurement & Impact team members to deliver on organizational needs

Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Econometrics, Marketing Analytics, Communications, Media or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience in ads measurement at broadcast or cable networks, digital entertainment, ad-tech companies, advertising agencies or media analytics firms preferred
• Familiarity with modern approaches to TV and digital direct attribution in the media industry
• Familiarity with syndicated media research tools with a focus on cross platform measurement, including Nielsen systems, comScore, EDO, Phoenix TV and Digital Brand Effect, ListenFirst, Nielsen Social and YouGov
• Experience working with attribution measurement vendors such as iSpot, LiveRamp / Data Plus Math, Nielsen Catalinas Solutions, IRI, Polk, Crossix and IQVIA
• Ability to distill data from a variety of sources into clear and actionable data-driven narratives, insights and recommendations
• Must be well versed in MS Office (creating charts/graphs, pivot tables and formulas)
• Experience working with SQL database tools and data visualization tools is a plus
• Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
