Job Description
Responsibilities

You will be responsible for providing HR leadership, advice, coaching and guidance to all UK TVD employees as well as overseeing TVD related activities across the EMEA region, partnering with in-country HR teams to deliver a first-class HR service and proactively engage on all people related activities.

Reporting into the VP, HR EMEA with a dotted line into the Global US-based VP HR , TVD you will help to drive HR processes that embed company policy and practice ensuring we are creating the best environment for our workforce, and we'll look to you to provide expert advice, proactive solutions, and strong partnership on all aspects of employment and freelance engagements.

Generalist Responsibilities
• Provide daily HR leadership support to all UK TVD including employee relations, compensation, staffing and recruitment, performance management, ad hoc reporting and compliance with HR policies and procedures
• Create and execute HR strategies designed to enhance the employee experience for our staff
• Be the main interface/escalation point of contact for country HR teams across the EMEA region for communicating the TVD people strategy and all TVD people matters
• Lead on ad hoc TVD HR projects across the EMEA region and internationally when required
• Create an environment of positive employee relations by respecting confidentiality, establishing trust and credibility, being seen by employees as an approachable and fair subject matter expert, and balancing business needs with employee needs
• Lead on ensuring compliance to our Respect in the Workplace practice & policy
• Establish best practices for Hybrid working, supporting managers and staff

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion
• Partnering and leading on global DEI efforts for the TVD group
• Work with the VP, HR EMEA and Diversity Champions to deliver agreed strategies to create inclusive working environments for NBCU in EMEA

Learning & Development
• Provide coaching to employees, managers and staff, offering feedback and advice on issues in a proactive and compassionate manner
• Be a brand ambassador for development offerings and ensure you and your stakeholders are fully aware of the opportunities and the overall curriculum.
• Identifying opportunities for future talent and supporting the business in planning their development

Leadership
• Day to day management and development of one HR Coordinator
• Provide coaching and development to direct reports and people managers with a focus on supporting career development
• Lead and deliver on HR projects which enhance the engagement experience for all employees
• Be passionate about driving key HR initiatives forward for all client groups
• Partner with leaders who have reports across the EMEA region, offering proactive and strategic support to managers and local HR teams
• Oversee all quarterly and annual HR processes for UK & EMEA (compensation planning, promotions, Talent Lab nominations), also supporting the VP HR in annual budget planning on behalf of the region

Qualifications
• Experience building trusted relationships with clients
• Strong interpersonal/organisational & critical thinking skills
• Able to persuade and influence in conflict situations, providing leadership and direction
• Experience in managing HR within a fast-paced dynamic environment
• Experience in leading DEI and embedding into employee experience cycle
• Strong employment law knowledge and experience of managing complex cases
• Experience in creating and executing HR strategies along with tactical priorities
• Able work independently in a fast-paced creative environment and meet tight deadlines
• Able to engage, influence and develop strong relationships
• Able to provide strategic support in a matrixed organisation
• Able to communicate across all levels and flex your style in various scenarios
• Experience managing and developing direct reports
