Job Description

Responsibilities

The Sales Representative will engage in inside sales activities based in our Belfast office in which we offer hybrid working arrangements. They will play a significant role within a highly successful sales team, who share a strong desire in helping our customers improve, manage and grow their golf course operation through the use of our products and services.

As a Sales Representative, you will manage the full sales cycle from identifying opportunities and initial call right through to close to ensure we grow our client and product base across the UK & Ireland through key responsibilities that include;
• Developing a well-rounded understanding of our sales philosophy, market and customer needs.
• Identify and prospect new accounts and opportunities to develop into new and incremental business across our GolfNow distribution channel.
• Gaining advanced product and market knowledge to generate incremental revenues from existing clients by up-selling additional GolfNow products and opportunities.
• Have ownership of the full sales cycle from prospecting, lead generation, cold calling, relationship building, and account penetration
• Managing all inbound enquiries and generating new opportunities via outbound prospective client targeting.
• Engaging with golf clubs via phone, email, and other communication tools to promote and inform clients and prospects about the benefits of GOLFNOW products.
• Meeting and/or exceeding department metrics and goals.
• Follow-through on all commitments to customers ensuring a successful internal transition throughout the customer engagement process.
• Maintaining accurate daily record of sales activity using Salesforce

Qualifications

It is essential that candidates have;
• 2+ years of professional experience in a sales or account management role within a SaaS environment or relevant industry (eg Sports, Technology/ Digital).
• Strong communication skills and a proven track record of new product / customer acquisition.
• Experience of analysing, collating and presenting data/ demos to support proposals to current and prospective clients.
• A results oriented mindset and a proven record of achieving targets and objectives.
• Experience of using Salesforce or similar CRM.
• Very strong internet skills and high comfort level using web based applications.
• Understanding of IT/internet products and use.

Additional skills and experience that would be desirable ;
• Education to degree level in a relevant discipline (e.g. Business/ Marketing/ IT).
• Sales experience within an E-Commerce/ sports tech environment.
• Familiarity of or experience within the UK market relating to Golf.
