Responsibilities

SportsEngine is seeking a Sales Representative to join our Safety team. Our growing software company needs a strong team player who will be responsible for working with prospective customers to share how our business can provide value to their organization by creating a safer environment for their members.
• Achieve or exceed the revenue goals for the Safety segment of customers.
• Prospective customers will primarily include large civic organizations (city and county agencies) and secondarily sports organizations (governing bodies and regional associations).
• Revenue attainment is achieved by selling prospects background checks from SportsEngine's sister company, NCSI; as well as other safety products including training, insurance and technology.
• Develop, maintain, prioritize and ultimately own the client pipeline across the Civic business
• Review RFPs, compile all documentation and responses, and finalize proposals to be sent back to the requestor.
• Present as required to clients, and coordinate with all team members to ensure the business is properly represented.
• Partner with Operations, Client Services, and Account Management to ensure that the team can facilitate all components of the bid and when won, successfully onboard and service clients.
• Provide support to other enterprise sales team members in building pipeline by networking, discovering new verticals, and maintaining communication.
• Become an expert in the business including: 1) the SportsEngine and NCSI products and services; 2) the civic and youth sports markets; and 3) the background screening and youth safety industries.
• Assist in the management of strategic partnerships across states or governing agencies that will help the organization win affiliated deals.
• Success will also be measured by your participation in helping to foster a team culture which is collaborative, supportive, encouraging and fun.

Qualifications/Requirements
• 2+ years in a Sales role or applicable Account Management experience
• Strong written, email and telephone skills

Desired Characteristics
• Experience working with enterprise level clients
• Experience and/or service within software (SaaS) or web - based applications
• Experience in project management and/or coordinating targeted sales and marketing campaigns
• College degree or equivalent experience
• Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM system is preferred
• Experience working in a fast-paced and quickly changing environment
• Experience in a fast-paced/deadline driven/sense of urgency environment
• Experience meeting deadlines
• Ability to provide creative solutions and build relationships with clients and co-workers
• An ''ownership'' mentality towards work and clients
• Strong organizational, time management and follow-through skills
