Job Description
Reporting to the Director Talent Acquisition, EMEA in a team of 12, this role is based in our London office with the opportunity to work flexibly from home as agreed. This is an exciting opportunity to support the EMEA recruitment team in securing top diverse talent for our world leading media and entertainment companies.
Development & Execution of Sourcing & Recruiting Strategy
• Lead strategic recruitment initiatives across EMEA, aligning talent acquisition vision with business needs at both regional and country levels.
• Collaborate with HR and business leaders to develop and administer staffing plans and processes.
• Support the team in translating business strategy into clear job requirements and robust action plans.
• Design and implement sourcing strategies that attract diverse talent and build strong pipelines across all levels.
• Proactively source, screen, interview, and recommend candidates for open roles, sharing talent across the portfolio.
• Leverage social networking and online tools to engage passive candidates.
• Plan, manage, and attend internal and external networking events to connect directly with talent.
• Provide innovative solutions for talent strategies for both individual and team needs.
• Stay current with emerging recruiting methods and contribute to a consistent, forward-thinking strategy.
Partnership & Relationship Management
• Act as team lead in the absence of the Talent Acquisition Director and support with escalations as needed.
• Represent Talent Acquisition in senior HR and business leadership meetings.
• Serve as a subject matter expert within the global TA community for the region or business area.
• Build strong consultative relationships with senior HR partners and business leaders to anticipate staffing needs.
• Collaborate closely with Early Careers, Global TA, Employee Experience, and our Talent Development teams.
• Share market insights and talent trends to inform business decisions.
• Provide consultative support to hiring managers using relevant metrics and industry trends.
• Ensure a smooth and transparent recruitment process, managing expectations at every stage.
Project Management & Mentorship
• Lead or contribute significantly to projects that impact key processes across the team and business.
• Mentor and coach team members, supporting their development.
• Help plan and execute Talent Acquisition events, including large conferences and onsite networking sessions.
• Drive process improvement and innovation through cross-functional project teams.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Extensive experience in a search firm, corporate recruiting, or related industry role with responsibility for acquiring top talent.
• Proven experience mentoring and developing team members.
• Ability to translate talent strategy into actionable staffing plans.
• Demonstrated success in leading and delivering major initiatives or projects.
• Strong stakeholder relationship management skills, representing both self and team.
• Excellent communication, consulting, and influencing abilities.

Desired Characteristics
• Experience recruiting within Finance, Legal & HR
• Passionate about delivering exceptional service to internal and external partners.
• Broad knowledge of current recruiting policies, practices, and industry trends.
• Skilled in competency-based interviewing and innovative selection methods.
• Ability to assess staffing needs and develop creative recruiting strategies.
• Strong understanding of employment law and HR practices in the EMEA region.
• Proven ability to identify opportunities and drive process improvements.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and engaging with all levels of leadership.
• Team-oriented with a positive approach to work.
• Adaptable and effective in dynamic environments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
• Fluency in a second language relevant to NBCUniversal markets (in addition to English) is advantageous.
