Responsibilities

ROLE PURPOSE:

The NBCU Cable Entertainment Post-Production Coordinator is responsible

for supporting our team initiatives across Marketing and all key areas of our business. Support our Cable Entertainment teams with timely media asset management and clear, concise communication on project assignments.

Audit, innovate, and support the team to develop efficiencies for all of our post-production workflows across our virtual environments. Includes cross-functional collaboration with
other departments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Fully Execute all Post Operation Assignments including but not limited to: Post Kickoff Memos, Asset Request Retrieval and Movement (Video/Print/Digital) across the Marketing Supply Chain, Organization and Creation of project folders for post workflow, Transcode / Encode Media, onboarding of vendors/internal employees to our systems
• Maintain the integrity of the NBCUniversal Content Security Measures for sharing, receiving, and/or storing assets at any stage of a project
• Maintain and contribute to our SharePoint Hub site to house Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), technical specs, FAQ, tracking documents and training demos, etc. for internal and external users
• Partner with Production Leads and internal Shoots Producers to align and coordinate on shooting specs, delivery, ingest with metadata management, deployment, and short/long term storage
• Provide timely, clear, and concise communication for project asset requests that you are assigned to
• Collaborate with the Operations side of our team to align and develop best practices and updates for the tools and systems our teams use daily
• Foster healthy relationships with team leads across the business units
• Manage special projects as needed
• Stay current on industry trends and innovations to maintain effective and efficient communication and workflows
• Mentor and train the Interns and Pages assigned to our team

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree
• 1.5+ years of experience working at a cable or broadcast network with post-production experience a plus: video, motion graphics, digital, print and/or project management

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be willing to work in New York, NY Office
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
