Job Description

Key Responsibilities

The role sits within the busy and highly commercial Operations department of Universal Pictures Content Group and involves critical path management of multiple projects simultaneously. Working closely with the Marketing, Legal, Finance, Original Content and Acquisitions teams, you will oversee delivery and localisation of creative assets into the group. You will be working to standard deadlines and following required technical specs for downstream exploitation across all media including theatrical, digital and SVOD platforms. Delivery could be from a variety of sources including internally from the Marketing team or externally from Filmmakers, Licensors and/or Sales Agents. You will:
• Monitor delivery of all assets and elements for your projects, liaise with licensors and/or vendors and ensure your titles deliver on time and to budget.
• Maintain reports and schedule/provide technical evaluations to ensure the products meet quality requirements. You will also gather information to support scheduling and profitability processes.
• Order localisation (subtitling and dubbing) across all required territories for your assigned titles.
• Display excellent organisation and time management skills, maintain deadlines and help to resolve any delivery complications that arise.
• Become confident in your own decision-making abilities and learn to draw conclusions to support your decision-making process.
• Communicate clearly and effectively to all stakeholders with precise, updated information and knowledge of when to escalate any issues.
• Establish and build strong working relationships with external vendors, ensuring they meet required technical specs, whilst following our content protection guidelines and maintain our delivery deadlines to ensure optimum commercial release potential for all our content.

Qualifications

Essential:
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• High level of attention to detail
• Able to learn quickly and effectively
• Project coordination experience within localisation (subtitling & dubbing) and/or delivery of content
• A passion for and understanding of the filmed entertainment industry with market, supply chain or distribution knowledge
• Solid experience with Microsoft Office applications, in particular Excel

Desirable:
• Good knowledge of file-based workflows and digital servicing requirements
• Filmed format knowledge
