Responsibilities
OFFICE & TECHNOLOGY COORDINATOR
This position will be the face of the Sydney Head Office based in George Street. We are looking for a dynamic individual to take on this fast-paced dual role. You will have the opportunity be across the many facets of our business with variety in the job from day to day.
The successful candidate will have a positive attitude and be digitally fluent, comfortable dealing with face-to-face customer service and providing virtual support while maintaining the energy and enthusiasm representative of our industry.
This role would suit someone with an administrative background who is willing to develop their technical knowledge. Working predominately on the front desk and assisting IT with technical queries will enable this person to learn on the job and grow their skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Managing all visitors to the office including VIP's, external staff and service providers.
• Booking same day, National and International couriers and reconciliation of monthly invoicing.
• Liaise with the Base Building Management for office maintenance issues.
• Issue Staff and Visitor Security passes as needed, keeping up to date records.
• Regular auditing of all access cards.
• General administrative support to the Office Services Manager.
• Provide assistance to the Australian IT team.
• Update documentation regarding support issues, requests and ensure it is accurate and maintained.
• General maintenance of all IT equipment including; PC's, MacBook's, Mobile Devices, Printers, Photocopiers, VOIP telephones and other hardware and software as required.
• Help IT with setting up new laptops, phones and iPads
• Ensuring the overall appearance of the office is always impeccable.
• Kitchen and Break Out Room duties – keep tidy, restock supplies and monitor dishwashers.
• Involvement in the Environmental Health & Safety committee.
• Minute taking for the Business Reconstitution Framework Taskforce
• Support HR with Onboarding.
• Ad-hoc projects as required.
Qualifications/Requirements
OVERALL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• High level customer focus and delivery.
• Professional presentation.
• Positive attitude in a busy and pressured technical environment.
• Previous experience in an administrative role.
• Experience with tools like Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as autonomously.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and a strong attention to detail.
• Solid command of the English language, written and verbal.
