Responsibilities

NBCUniversal Global Distribution is responsible for the sales and distribution of NBC Universal product to all forms of television and new media platforms in over 200 territories across the globe, its revenue portfolio exceeding $5Bn per year. This includes a rich library of more than 4,200 feature films and 110,000 television episodes, including current and classic titles, non-scripted programming, sports, news, long-form and short-form programming, and locally produced content from around the world. NBCUniversal Global Distribution is a division of Comcast NBCUniversal.
OVERVIEW
The Manager, Sales Planning will support the Vice President, Sales Planning and be responsible for benchmarking, tracking and analysis of content sales. The Manager must be proficient in Excel and must become adept with the in-house availability system. Extensive data analysis using Excel is required, as well as product research on various websites and other internal applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Generate sales history reports using our in-house tracking system (SAFE).
• Analyze data to ensure correct sales history and comparable benchmark product have been captured in report.
• Format/customize sales history reports on Excel worksheets making sure rights (exclusive vs. non-exclusive) and fees have been accurately captured.
• Research product content details (episode counts, release year, run time, etc.,).
• Maintain ''Tracker'' of all licensed content to Peacock (series and film) with market comps and benchmarks.
• Track all content proposals and selections and liaise with sales to ensure all necessary documents have been provided for analysis purposes.
• Liaise with head of Market Research and Strategy to track performance data.
• Liaise with Finance to track rev. share data.
• Must be proficient with working in Excel and extracting data from large databases. The individual should be able to use complex Excel formulas and pivot tables, manipulate large databases, and prepare attractively formatted tables and graphics.
• The preferred individual would have the ability both to perform detail work accurately and understand the big picture with respect to content pricing.

• Demonstrate computer proficiency with strong emphasis on Excel.
• Experience in data and financial analysis.
• Experience with filmed entertainment sales tracking applications such as SAFE (Sales and Availability for Film Entertainment) is helpful.
