Job Description

Role Summary:

The Manager of Programmatic Product Planning will play a critical role within our fast-paced ad sales team with a focus on driving revenue through a suite of programmatic products, a key component of NBCU's streaming portfolio. This role will report directly into to the Sr. Director of Programmatic Strategic Planning, and will be tasked overseeing a group of Digital Sales Planners to build compelling media proposals and effectively steward existing campaigns in order to drive ad revenue for the organization. Advanced knowledge of the digital advertising landscape and ability to operate effectively and efficiently at the cross-section of traditional and new media are critical to achieving success in this role.]

Responsibilities:
• Lead a group of Digital Sales Planners and provide thoughtful guidance as it relates to plan building, rate approvals, campaign set up/execution, and workload prioritization
• Collaborate across internal departments (Sales, Planning, Ad Operations, Account Management, etc.) to ensure coordination and alignment between Programmatic and Direct businesses
• Serve as the programmatic subject-matter-expert as it relates to pricing and packaging strategies across both PG and PMP business
• Oversee the successful stewardship of all PG campaigns in collaboration with sales, ad operations, and inventory teams.
• Assess revenue at risk on a daily basis and proactively recommend solutions to ensure all PG campaigns deliver in full
• Ensure all PG/PMP deals are priced appropriately according to agency/advertiser agreements and/or scatter marketplace conditions.
• Analyze areas within the pre-sale and post-sale workflow that can be improved, and proactively recommend process enhancements that improve executional accuracy and efficiency
• Field escalations and work with Sales/Planning Director to enable resolution with clients
• Work closely with Account Managers and Digital Sales Planners to ensure revenue pipeline is up-to-date and accurate
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to manage the continued growth of programmatic revenue

Serve as a key internal subject matter expert on everything related to programmatic

Qualifications

Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of digital advertising experience, preferably in digital media planning, client services, campaign management or ad operations
• Advanced knowledge of digital ad sales cycle and media math. Knowledge of programmatic is a plus.
• Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
• Ability to collaborate and maintain effective working relationships within a cross-functional matrixed organization
• Exceptional verbal, written, presentation and communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for a broad audience
• Highly independent, motivated self-starter with ability to thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced startup environment

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Salary Range: $85,000-$95,000 (Bonus eligible)
